In the 11 matches played in the league-stage encounter of the Mayor's Cup on Monday, both the bowlers and batters dominated, displaying some superb performances.
In the first match, Puneet Singh Gandhi (200 off 128, 3-4) and Aishik Ghosh (169) helped Don Bosco School Liluah beat Dolna Day School & Creche by 554 runs.
In other matches, Tanishq Mundhra (193), Neervan Dilip Das (4-20) helped Purbanchal Vidya Mandir beat St Xaviers Collegiate School by 226 runs.
Viivaan Drolia (106, 3-19), Vansh Goenka (96) helped La Martiniere For Boys beat Jibreel International School by 418 runs. Suleman Akhtar bagged three wickets.
Somdeep Routh (82, 1-29), Shreyan Dey (3-40) helped Patha Bhavan beat National Gems HS School by 4 runs.
Md Umair Khan (5-20), Aayush Pan (59), Koustav Das (3-22) helped St James School beat A.K Ghosh Memorial School by 194 runs.
Subhranil Roy (3-12), Raunak Ghosh (3-5) helped Infocus India Public School beat Indus Valley World School by 10 wickets.
