Ayush (103), Arjun (112), Mithilesh (4-27), Arnab (43, 3-19) impress in CAB 1st Div One-Day meet

Town Club, Barisha Sporting Club, Bhowanipore Club, Kidderpore Sporting Club and Calcutta Customs Club registered victories in their respective league-stage matches in the CAB First Division One-Day League-cum-knockout tournament on Monday.
In the first match, Ayush Kumar Singh (103 not out off 99), Prabhat Maurya (60, 2-51), Priyanshu Shrivastava (61), Mandeep Singh (3-46), Ankit Mishra (2-29) helped Barisha Sporting Club beat United Club by 9 wickets. Batting first, Arjun Bhardwaj scored an brilliant unbeaten 112 off 97 balls as United Club scored 220/9. In reply, Barisha Sporting scored 226/1.
In other matches, Mithilesh Das (4-27), Geet Puri (3-29) helped Town Club beat Tapan Memorial Club by 4 wickets. Batting first, Tapan Memorial Club scored 118. In reply, Town Club scored 119/6. Argha Sengupta bagged 3 for 23.
Prinann Dutta (85), Aamir Gani (3-30), Arindam Ghosh (62) helped Bhowanipore Club beat Mohun Bagan AC by 92 runs. Batting first, Bhowanipore scored 272/6. In reply, despite a fine 65 by Vishwajeet Mishra, Mohun Bagan scored 180.
Arnab Nandi (43, 3-19), Ayush Doseja (78), Saksham Sharma (2-34) helped Kidderpore Sporting Club beat Kalighat Club by 10 runs. Batting first, Kidderpore scored 209/7. In reply, Kalighat scored 199. Subham Chatterjee scored 79.
Nuruddin Mondal (3-30), Surojit Jadav (84), Ananta Saha (2-35) helped Calcutta Customs Club beat East Bengal Club by 7 runs. Batting first, Calcutta Customs Club scored 232/7. In reply, East Bengal Club scored 225. Varun Lavande scored 80.
