Bengal down Punjab, bag 3rd straight
win in Women’s U-15 One Day meet

Riding on a brilliant bowling performance, Bengal outclassed Punjab by 82 runs to register their third successive victory in the Women’s Under-15 One Day Trophy in Gwalior on Monday.
With 12 points from three games, Bengal sit comfortably on top of Group C.
Skipper Sandipta Patra led from the front with a superb unbeaten 62 off 72 while Snigdha Bag (3-6) and Debjani Das (2-7) were brilliant with the ball for Bengal.
Batting first, Bengal scored 131/7 in 35 overs. In reply, Punjab were bundled out for just 49 in 24.4 overs.
