In the 3 matches played in the Mayor's Cup on Sunday, both the bowlers and batters dominated, displaying some superb performances.
In the first match, Soumyadip Samanta (71, 1-30), Nirban Hajra (2-23), Sounak Das (2-21) helped Vivekananda Mission School beat Jadavpur Vidyapith by 5 wickets. Abhijoy Purkait scored a fine unbeaten 95.
In other matches, Sunayan Ata (5-30), Adrish Kumar Mandal (42 off 19, 2-21) helped Midnapore Collegiate School beat Don Bosco School Liluah by 9 wickets.
Aadit Bhanja Chowdhury (3-15), Sarthak Ghosh (2-19), Ram Sen (32) helped Nava Nalanda High School beat Birla High School by 9 wickets.
