In the 11 matches played in the league-stage encounter of the Mayor's Cup on Friday, the bowlers dominated the batters, displaying some superb performances.
In the first match, Divyansh Chauhan (6-13), Shreyas Niyogi (84 off 54), Arkadeb Debangshi (57) helped Delhi Public School Ruby Park beat M.C Kejriwal Vidyapith by 194 runs. Akshat Lohia bagged 4 for 57.
In other matches, Ayush Gupta (5-7), Priyam Paul (38 off 19) helped Aditya Academy Sr Secondary beat St Mary Orphanage & Day School by 9 wickets.
Sauhardya Das (36, 5-6) helped South Point High School beat The Assembly of God Church School by 7 wickets.
Ujan Mondal (4-1), Reeturaaj Sarkar (34 off 18) helped Jadavpur N.K Pal Adarsha Sikshayatan beat St Augustines Day School by 10 wickets.
Aditya Kr Ray (5-13), Sk Misbahul Haque (35, 3-30) helped St Thomas Boys School Kidderpore beat National High School (Boys) by 3 wickets. Abhishek Kumar Singh bagged 3 for 30.
Pranjal Kundu (4-23), Shreyon Paul (30), Shinjan Sinha (3-38) and Trijal Banerjee (3-13) helped Indus Valley World School beat A.K Ghosh Memorial School by 117 runs. Aalekhya Ghosh bagged 4 for 37.
Debmalya Dey (4-8), Soujanya Roy (47), Rupayan Nag (3-17) helped Rammohan Mission High School beat Meghmala Roy Education Centre by 9 wickets.
Sk Chaman Ali (68), Sunayan Ata (51), Sayan Gope (3-28), Sounil Ghosh (3-42) helped Midnapore Collegiate School beat Kamrabad Uchcha Vidyalaya by 29 runs. Sandipan Mondal bagged 4 for 21.
Triparna Samanta (4-20), Victor Adak (38), Deepan Senapati (3-8) helped Howrah Vivekananda Institution beat Delhi Public School Joka by 7 wickets.
Shantanu Saha (22, 4-32), Syed Abbas Raza (54), Mayank (3-33) helped The Frank Anthony Public School beat MP Birla Foundation HS School by 10 runs. Manmeet Singh bagged 4 for 19.
Salt Lake School won the match as St Thomas Church School didn’t turn up.
