Bengal aim for winning start in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy

Bengal Senior Men’s Team will aim to begin their Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy campaign on high when they take on Punjab in the opening match at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot on Saturday.
The Sudip Kumar Gharami-led side received a big boost ahead of the tournament with the addition of star India pacer Mohammad Shami.
The veteran India and Bengal fast bowler, who made a successful return to competitive cricket via Ranji Trophy, will spearhead Bengal’s bowling attack against Punjab.
Skipper Gharami, Abishek Porel, experienced Sudip Chatterjee, all-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed will aim to make an impact in the tournament.
While pacers Ishan Porel and Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal will look to continue their good form with the ball recently.
