Police Athletic Club, Sporting Union, Kumartuli Institute, BNR Recreation Club registered comfortable victories in their respective league-stage matches in the J.C Mukherjee T20 Tournament on Friday.
In the first match, Pawan (78 off 41, 3-30), Harshimar Singh Patheja (68 not out), Abhijeet Prasad (2-34) helped Kumartuli Institute beat Dalhousie Athletic Club by 7 runs. Batting first, Kumartuli Institute scored 180/4. In reply, Dalhousie Athletic Club scored 173/8. Sunil Dalal scored 70.
In other matches, Mohit Roy (77 off 50), Anirban Gupta (3-17) helped BNR Recreation Club beat Tollygunge Agragami by 86 runs. Batting first, BNR Recreation Club scored 178/5. In reply, Tollygunge Agragami scored 92/8. Bijoy Bhowmick scored 51.
Vipin Chandra (40 off 20, 1-15), Ankit Kumar (48 off 34), Sunny Singh (3-10) helped Sporting Union beat Monohar Pukur Milan Samity by 52 runs. Batting first, Sporting Union scored 160. In reply, Monohar Pukur Milan Samity scored 108/7. Kuldeep Mishra bagged 4 wickets.
