Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club, Uttarpalli Milan Sangha, Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club, Shyambazar Club, Police Athletic Club and Dakshin Kalikata Sansad registered comfortable victories in their respective league-stage matches in the J.C Mukherjee T20 Tournament on Wednesday.
In the first match, Abhijit Mal (51, 1-11), Masroor Haider Khan (2-12), Aditya Varma (44) helped Shyambazar Club beat Indian Boys Athletic Club by 9 wickets. Batting first, Indian Boys Athletic Club scored 114/7. In reply, Shyambazar Club scored 115/1. Nabankur Ghosh scored 47.
In other matches, Anuj Kumar (43 off 33, 2-18) helped Uttarpalli Milan Sangha beat Monohar Pukur Milan Samity by 3 runs. Batting first, Uttarpalli Milan Sangha scored 130. In reply, Monohar Pukur Milan Samity scored 127/7. Rahul Sen scored 64 while V Jay Kumar scored 2-8.
Parvej Alam (3-5), Pardeep Parashar (2-7) helped Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club beat Dalhousie Athletic Club by 7 wickets. Batting first, Dalhousie Athletic Club scored 58. In reply, Calcutta Port Trust Sports Club scored 60/3.
Sourav K Gouda (40), Karan Singh (4-16), Tukuna Sahu (2-14) helped Dakshin Kalikata Sansad beat YMCA (College Branch) by 53 runs. Batting first, Dakshin Kalikata Sansad scored 137/6. In reply, YMCA (College Branch) scored 84/8.
Jagmohan Prasad (2-13, 16), Lokesh Sharma (38) helped Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club beat Belgachia United Club by 28 runs. Abdul Kalam bagged 3 for 16. Batting first, Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club scored 150/6. In reply, Belgachia scored 122/9.
