Ram (223), Aarav (204) hit brilliant double centuries in Mayor's Cup

Howrah Vivekananda Institution, Purba Barasat Adarsha Vidyapith, Don Bosco School (Park Circus), Nava Nalanda High School, Jadavpur Vidyapith, Tirthapith Institution, St Johns Public School registered easy wins in their respective league-stage matches in the Mayor's Cup 2024-25, jointly organised by CAB & KMC in association with KKR, on Tuesday.
In the first match, Ram Sen hit a superb unbeaten 223 off 118 balls followed by bagging 1 for 6 as Nava Nalanda High School beat Jibreel International School by a massive 587 runs. Sarthak Ghosh bagged 3 for 9.
In other matches, Aarav Chandak smashed a brilliant 204 off 140 balls followed by bagging 3 for 15 as Don Bosco School Park Circus beat Asian International School by 154 runs.
Triparna Samanta was superb with the ball, bagging 7 for 9 as Howrah Vivekananda Institution beat The Frank Anthony Public School by 8 wickets.
Md Ashik (5-21), Sandip Das (38) helped Purba Barasat Adarsha Vidyapith beat Salt Lake School by 9 wickets.
Abhijoy Purkait (6-23) and Sattyam Saha (26) helped Jadavpur Vidyapith beat St Marys Orphanage & Day School by 1 wicket.
Koushik Bouri (52 not out, 4-10) and Siddhant Basu (4-22) helped Tirthapati Institution by 7 wickets. Ayurd Das (62) also impressed.
