Bristi (119), Jhumia (59, 3-9) impress in Inter District Senior Women’s T20 meet

Bankura DSA, Hooghly DSA, Howrah DSA, CAB Secretary XI, CAB President XI, North 24-PGS DSA, Nadia DSA, South 24-PGS DSA registered easy wins in their respective league-stage matches in the Inter District Senior Women’s T20 tournament on Monday.
In the first match, Bristi Maji scored a brilliant unbeaten 119 off 71 balls while Sanchita Kar bagged 2 for 12 as Howrah DSA beat Dakshin Dinajpur DSA by 114 runs.
In the other matches, Jhumia Khatun (59 not out off 29, 3-9) helped Nadia DSA beat Manbhum S.A by 129 runs. Mouli Mondal bagged 2 for 9.
Ritika Paul (34, 3-16) and Anindita Nath (3-18) helped CAB Secretary XI beat Burdwan DSA by 6 wickets.
Ashmita Das (22, 3-20), Roshni Khatoon (2-5), Puja Rajak (2-5) helped CAB President XI beat Uttar Dinajpur DSA by 55 runs.
Sansthita Biswas (42 not out), Koyel Sarkar (1-11) helped Hooghly DSA beat Malda DSA by 22 runs.
Anupriya Verma (20, 1-5) helped South 24-PGS DSA beat Birbhum DSA by 5 wickets. Sabnur Sultana bagged 3 for 18.
Parama Mondal (29, 2-20) and Barsha Singha (2-17) helped Bankura DSA beat Siliguri MKP by 5 runs. Puja Adhikary bagged 3 for 10.
Swastika Kundu (3-2), Preeti Mandal (36) helped North 24-PGS DSA beat Cooch Behar DSA by 155 runs.
