Shekhar slams unbeaten 111 as Sporting Union win in J.C Mukherjee T20 meet

Sporting Union & Kolkata Union Sporting Club registered comfortable victories in their respective league-stage matches in the J.C Mukherjee T20 Tournament on Friday.
In the first match, Shekhar Singh Chauhan smashed a brilliant unbeaten 111 off 57 balls along with Jayveer (87 not out) as Sporting Union beat Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club by 132 runs. Batting first, Sporting Union scored 246/2. In reply, Anandabazar Patrika Sports Club scored 114. Vipin Chandra and Kishan Kumar bagged three wickets each.
In the second match, Anik Nandi (35, 2-27), Abhijit Biswas (3-17) helped Kolkata Union Sporting Club beat Shibpur Institute by 16 runs. Batting first, Kolkata Union Sporting Club scored 149/5. In reply, Shibpur Institute scored 133.
