Ashutosh bags 8, Vishal hits 74 for Bengal in Cooch Behar Trophy

Riding on a brilliant bowling performance by Ashutosh Kumar, Bengal Under-19 team were in a commanding position at the end of the second day against Gujarat in the Cooch Behar Trophy in Motera on Thursday.
Chasing 299 to win, Gujarat were struggling at 130/3 at stumps on Day 2. For Bengal, Ashutosh bagged 2 for 59 while Vishal Bhati claimed one.
Earlier, after posting 246 in their first innings, Bengal bundled out Gujarat for 136 to bag the all-important first innings lead. Ashutosh was outstanding, bagging an impressive 8 for 71.
In their second innings, Bengal scored 188 to hand a challenging target to Gujarat.
For Bengal, Vishal scored a fighting 74.
