Confident Bengal U-19 team begin Cooch
Behar Trophy campaign vs Mumbai at home

A confident Bengal Under-19 team will aim to begin their Cooch Behar Trophy campaign on a high when they take on Mumbai at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday.
The boys will be high on spirits after finishing as runners-up in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy recently. The team will be led by the talented Chandrahas Dash with fast bowler Yudhajit Guha as the vice-captain.
“We as a team will aim to do the basics right and the results will follow. We started the season training and practicing with red ball cricket, so it is good to be a back at the red ball format. We have a strong team and it will be a good match,” Bengal head coach Sourashish Lahiri said.
Openers Ankit Chatterjee and Akshaz Giri will hold the key for Bengal at the top. All-rounders Ashutosh Kumar and Vishal Bhati will aim to make an impact. In the bowling department, Yudhajit will lead the attack.
