Customs bag easy wins in J.C Mukherjee T20 meet

Kalighat Club, Bhowanipore Club, Mohun Bagan Club and Calcutta Customs Club registered comfortable victories in their respective group-stage matches in the J.C Mukherjee T20 Tournament on Tuesday.
In the first match, Shantanu (71 off 42 balls), Ranjot Singh Khaira (62 off 30), Anurag Tiwari (3-19), Vikas Singh (3-23) helped Mohun Bagan beat Tapan Memorial Club by 95 runs. Batting first, Mohun Bagan posted 196/8. In reply, Tapan Memorial Club were bowled out for 101.
In the second match, Mohit Raut (35 not out, 4-22) and Surojit Jadav (53) helped Calcutta Customs Club beat Town Club by 20 runs. Batting first, Calcutta Customs posted 149/6. In reply, Town Club were bowled out for 129.
In the third match, Pramod Chandila (52 off 38), Subham Chatterjee (41 off 22) and Pritam Chakraborty (3-31) helped Kalighat Club beat East Bengal Club by 54 runs. Batting first, Kalighat Club posted 170/9. In reply, East Bengal Club scored 116/8.
In the fourth match, Deepak Kumar (2-6), Abhishek Raman (38 not out), Anubhav Tyagi (2-20) helped Bhowanipore Club beat Mohammedan Sporting Club by 5 wickets. Batting first, Md Sporting were bundled out for 91. In reply, Bhowanipore scored 94/5.
