Memorial bag easy win in J.C Mukherjee T20 meet

Kalighat Club, Town Club, Barisha Sporting Club and Tapan Memorial Club registered comfortable victories in their respective group-stage matches in the J.C Mukherjee T20 Tournament on Monday.
In the first match, Sayan Sekhar Mondal (76 off 56) and Pramod Chandila (69 not out off 33) batted superbly as Kalighat Club beat Bhowanipore Club by 7 wickets. Batting first, Bhowanipore Club posted 172/6, thanks to Abhishek Raman (67). In reply, Kalighat scored 174/3.
In the second match, Yuvraj Deepak Keswani (26, 3-9), Amanjyot Singh (3-26) and Avirup Gupta (44) helped Town Club beat United Club by 31 runs. Batting first, Town Club posted 161/8. In reply, United Club were bowled out for 130.
In the third match, Karan Lal (56), Ayush Kumar Singh (47), Poonish Mehta (3-29) helped Barisha Sporting Club beat Mohammedan Sporting Club by 5 wickets. Batting first, Mohammedan Sporting Club posted 162/8. In reply, Barisha Sporting scored 165/5.
In the fourth match, Kaif Ahmed (45 not out), Kunal Singh (40), Argha Sengupta (2-12) helped Tapan Memorial Club beat Kidderpore Sporting Club by 6 wickets. Batting first, Kidderpore Sporting posted 131/9. In reply, Tapan Memorial scored 135/4.
