Sandipan Das scored a fine 58 followed by bagging an impressive 4 for 33 as North 24-PGS Champs beat Hooghly Super Kings by 19 runs in the CAB Inter District Senior Men's T20 Open Tournament on Thursday. Batting first, North 24-PGS Champs scored 162/8. Hooghly Super Kings scored 143/6. Raju Halder bagged 2 for 6. For Hooghly, Chandan Singh (50) and Anubhav Tyagi (4-31) impressed.
In other matches, Anmol Prasad (85) and Soumyadip Gupta (2-25) helped Gour Badsha Malda beat South 24-PGS Tiger by 6 runs. Batting first, Gour Badsha Malda posted 158/4. In reply, South 24-PGS Tiger scored 152/5. Yuvraj Deepak Keswani (56) impressed for South 24-PGS.
Suprodip Debnath (76), Dhiman Mondal (3-19), Tanmay Pramanick (3-18), Nuruddin Mondal (2-20) helped Nadia Super Dazzler beat Midnapore Heros by 9 wickets. Batting first, Midnapore Heros scored 100. In reply, Nadia Super Dazzler posted 101/1.
Arikta Das (40), Sanjiv Kumar Singh (3-11) and Abir Chatterjee (3-17) helped Burdwan Blues beat Dare Devil Dakshin Dinajpur by 8 wickets. Batting first, Dare Devil Dakshin Dinajpur were bundled out for 79. Burdwan Blues scored 81/2.
Dipak Kr Yadav (3-13), Dinesh Kumar Rai (3-24), Ankit Mishra (3-25), Md Irfan Ansari (59) helped Howrah Diamonds beat Murshidabad Nawab by 6 wickets. Batting first, Murshidabad Nawab scored 118. In reply, Howrah Diamonds scored 120/4.
Asraful Ansary (4-33), Mustafa Ansari (2-16), Daya Shankar Goswami (35) helped Manbhum Warriors beat Bankura Horses by 1 run. Batting first, Manbhum Warriors posted 135/9. Bankura Horses scored 134/9.
