Abir bags 5 as Burdwan Blues win
in CAB Inter District T20 meet

Abir Chatterjee (5-20) was brilliant with the ball while Subham Chatterjee (57), Aishik Patel (50), Azaz Ansari (3-15) also impressed as Burdwan Blues beat Hooghly Super Kings by 79 runs in the CAB Inter District Senior Men's T20 Open Tournament on Wednesday. Batting first, Burdwan Blues posted 172/5. In reply, Hooghly Super Kings were bundled out for 93.
In other matches, Ankur Paul (78), Anik Sarkar (3-29), Kaushik Maity (2-29) helped Howrah Diamonds beat Nadia Super Dazzler by 13 runs. Batting first, Howrah Diamonds scored 180/7. In reply, Nadia Super Dazzler posted 167/9. Sayan Ghosh bagged 3 for 19.
Prem Sarkar (52), Soumyadip Gupta (3-15), Bapi (44) helped Gour Badsha Malda beat Bankura Horses by 56 runs. Batting first, Gour Badsha Malda scored 165/7. In reply, Bankura Horses scored 109/8.
Akhilesh Yadav (4-13), Raju Halder (3-14), helped North 24-PGS Champs beat Dare Devil Dakshin Dinajpur by 6 wickets. Batting first, Dare Devil Dakshin Dinajpur were bundled out for 72. In reply, North 24-PGS Champs scored 73/4.
Meghbaran Roy (50), Pritam Marjit (3-12) helped Murshidabad Nawab beat Midnapore Heros by 1 wicket. Batting first, Midnapore Heros posted 128/8. In reply, Murshidabad scored 134/9. Aranya Hazra scored 64.
