Bengal's Vishal named player of the
series in Vinoo Mankad Trophy

Bengal's Vishal Bhati was named the player of the series for his all-round performance in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, but the team after a dominant performance in the tournament went down to Gujarat by 10 wickets in the final clash in Rajkot on Saturday.
Vishal scored 352 runs with an average of 50.29 in the tournament. He also bagged 11 wickets.
Bengal made it to the final of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy after 11 years.
The team played fantastic brand of cricket throughout the tournament but had an off day in office in the final clash. Each and every player contributed to the team's performance in the tournament.
Batting first, Bengal were bowled out for 101 in 31.3 overs. Debangshu Pakhira top-scored with 37 runs.
Chasing the target, Gujarat went over the line, scoring 105 for no loss in 21.1 overs.
