Pradipta bag four for Bengal

Pradipta Pramanik’s four for 24 helped Bengal to restrict Gujarat at 169 in 60.2 overs. Coming out to bat in the second essay Bengal ended day three at 105 for 6, leading opposition by 73 runs.
At stumps batting for Bengal were Shreevats Goswami at 16 and B. Amit at 13.
"We are very happy that Pradipta Pramanik is playing so well. A boy who has got a chance to play at the senior level is proving himself augurs well for Bengal cricket," said Avishek Dalmiya, Joint Secretary of CAB on his good performance.
Commencing the day at 73 for 3, Gujarat seemed under pressure before bundling at 169, adding only 96 runs to the last night total.
While Pramanik topped the bowling barrel with four for 24, Ishan Porel backed him with 2 for 41.
On the other hand, Iswar Chaudhry for Gujarat topped the bowling card for his side bagging 3 for 22 runs.
