Bengal outclass Hyderabad by 7
wickets in Senior Women’s T20 opener

Riding on a dominant all-round performance, Bengal Senior Women’s team outclassed Hyderabad by 7 wickets in their opening match of the T20 Tournament at the C K Pithawala Ground in Surat on Thursday.
Bengal vice-captain Tanushree Sarkar smashed a brilliant unbeaten 51 off 44 balls with four boundaries and one six while skipper Saika Ishaque impressed with the ball bagging 2 for 11.
Batting first, Hyderabad managed to score 100/6 in 20 overs. For Bengal, Aruna Barman, Tithu Das and Sushmita Ganguly bagged a wicket each.
In reply, Bengal chased down the target comfortably, scoring 101/3 in 16.1 overs. Mita Paul (20) and Priyanka Bala (17 not out) also chipped in with handy knocks.
