Anuj (84), Rahul (81) help Bengal U-23 fight back on Day 2 in Col C K Nayudu Trophy

Anuj Kumar Singh (84) and Rahul Prasad (81) played fighting knocks to help Bengal Under-23 post 244 in their first innings against Andhra in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy match on Monday.
The duo added crucial runs to help Bengal recover from 38/5 to post a respectable total at the JU Second Campus Ground, Salt Lake.
In reply, Andhra were 167/1 in their first innings at stumps on Day 2, still trailing by 77 runs.
Andhra skipper K Revanth Reddy led from the front with a fine unbeaten 100.
For Bengal, Sayed Irfan Aftab bagged the only wicket.
