Bengal U-23 score 135/6 on rain-hit
Day 1 in Col C K Nayudu Trophy

Bengal Under-23 team scored 135/6 in 45.4 overs against Andhra at stumps on a rain-hit opening day in the Col C K Nayudu Trophy match at the JU Second Campus Ground, Salt Lake on Sunday.
Anuj Kumar Singh (52 not out) played a fighting knock to remain unbeaten at the end of the day's play along with Rahul Prasad (13 not out). Amanjyot scored a handy knock of 28.
Other Bengal batters Sahitya Hazra (5), Rohit Ram (4), Rahul Chowdhary (10), Prayas Ray Barman (0) and Parmit Singh (0) had a tough day in office.
For Andhra, G Sumith bagged 4 for 35.
