Bengal in Vinoo Mankad Trophy knockouts after 11 years

The wait is finally over. A dominant performance by the youngsters helped Bengal Under-19 team seal a place in the knockouts of the Vinoo Mankad Trophy after 11 years.
Before this, Bengal last made the knockouts back in 2013.
On Saturday, the Bengal U-19 team scripted a brilliant 190-run victory over Baroda in their final group-stage match in Bhubaneswar.
Vishal Bhati (87), Ashutosh Kumar (63), Yudhajit Guha (4-14) and Jeet Thakur (3-45) were the star performers for Bengal.
Batting first, Bengal posted a massive 328/9 in 50 overs.
In reply, Baroda were bundled out for just 138 in 34.4 overs.
