Murshidabad Kueens outclassed Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers by 8 wickets via DLS method to seal the top spot in the Women's Bengal Pro T20 League on Monday.
With their sixth victory in seven league games, Murshidabad Kueens, who have already qualified for the semifinals, will go into the last four clash as toppers with 12 points.
On the other hand, after their loss, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers end their league campaign with seven points, having won three. They will now have to look up to other team's results to know if they make the semifinals.
Opting to bat at Jadavpur University Salt Lake Campus, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers posted 104/6 in 20 overs.
Sneha Gupta, Sandipta Patra and Sritama Nandi bagged a wicket each for Murshidabad Kueens.
In reply, chasing a revised target of 75 in 13 overs after a rain delay, Murshidabad Kueens got the job done, scoring 75/2 in 12.4 overs.
