Medinipur Wizards in Bengal Pro T20 League

Riding on a brilliant all-round performance, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards outclassed Servotech Siliguri Strikers by 8 wickets in the Bengal Pro T20 League at the Eden Gardens on Friday.
Vivek Singh (56 not out off 27, 1-8), Priyanshu Shrivastava (36 off 19), Vaibhav Yadav (3-23) were the star performers for Rashmi Medinipur Wizards.
With win, Medinipur Wizards climb to third spot in the points table with seven points from six games, having won three. On the other hand, Siliguri Strikers are in sixth spot with four points from six games, with two wins so far.
Batting first, after the match was reduced to 12-overs-a-side due to rain, Servotech Siliguri Strikers managed to post 118/6 in 12 overs. Abhishek Raman (47 off 22) was the pick of the batsmen.
In reply, chasing the target, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards suffered an early setback with the dismissal of Wriddhiman Saha (4).
Against the run of play, Vivek and Priyanshu combined perfectly to tear apart Siliguri Strikers' bowling attack as Rashmi Medinipur Wizards went over the line comfortably, scoring 119/2 in 10 overs.
