Kolkata Tigers to easy victory in Bengal Pro T20 League

Abishek Porel led from the front with a fine 50 off 43 balls while Karan Lal (38 off 25, 2-21) displayed a superb all-round show as Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers outclassed Shrachi Rarh Tigers by 6 wickets in the Bengal Pro T20 League at the Eden Gardens on Friday.
With four wins from six games so far, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers are currently in the second spot in the points table with 8 points while Rarh Tigers are in the seventh spot with four points, having won two from five games.
Batting first, Shrachi Rarh Tigers managed to post 117/9 in 20 overs. Ayan Gupta (35) and Shahbaz Ahmed (31) were the pick of the batsmen.
Besides Karan, Sayan Ghosh (2-24) and Akash Pandey (2-28) impressed with the ball for Kolkata Tigers.
In reply, Abishek and Karan gave Kolkata Tigers a flying start. Capitalizing on the positive momentum, the team chased down the target comfortably, scoring 118/4 in 16 overs.
Pradipta Pramanick bagged 2 for 17 for Rarh Tigers.
