Smashers Malda first loss in Bengal Pro T20 League

Shrachi Rarh Tigers displayed a brilliant all-round performance to script a seven-wicket victory and hand Sobisco Smashers Malda their first defeat in the Bengal Pro T20 League.
Arindam Ghosh (48 not out off 41), Pradipta Pramanik (41 not out off 15, 1-31), Sumanta Gupta (36 off 26), Shahbaz Ahmed (2-16) and Suman Das (2-35) were the star performers for Rarh Tigers at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday.
Batting first, Sobisco Smashers Malda posted 142/9 in 20 overs, thanks to Saurabh Singh (34).
In reply, Rarh Tigers were dominant with the bat, chasing down the target comfortably, scoring 145/3 in just 15.5 overs.
The defeat to Rarh Tigers was Sobisco Smashers Malda's first loss in five games. With four wins, Sobisco Smashers still sit at the top of the points table.
