Karan stars for Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers,
Harbour Diamonds suffer 5th straight
loss in Bengal Pro T20 League

Karan Lal (62 not out, 2-2) displayed a superb all-round show to help Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers seal a dominant seven-wicket victory at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday and hand Harbour Diamonds their fifth straight defeat in the Bengal Pro T20 League.
Besides Karan, Ananta Saha (2-22), Sayan Ghosh (2-42) and skipper Avishek Porel (30 off 23) were the star performers for Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers.
Batting first, Harbour Diamonds managed to post 138/7 in 20 overs. Skipper Manoj Tiwary (45 off 39) top-scored for Harbour Diamonds.
In reply, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers got off to a fine start, thanks to Avishek and Karan.
Despite the dismissal of Avishek, Karan played positively, hitting five boundaries and three sixes in his match-winning knock, as Kolkata Tigers went over the line, scoring 144/3 in 16.4 overs.
After their fifth loss in the tournament, Manoj-led Harbour Diamonds are virtually out of contention for a semifinals spot.
