Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers down Servotech Siliguri Strikers in Bengal Pro T20 League

A dominant all-round performance helped Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers outclass Servotech Siliguri Strikers by 21 runs in the Bengal Pro T20 League at the Eden Gardens on Monday.
The star performers for Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers were Karan Lal (53 off 43), skipper Abishek Porel (40 off 32) Sandeep Tomar (36 not out off 33), Sayan Ghosh (3-38), Akash Pandey (2-19), Saurabh Srivastav (2-21) and Ananta Saha (2-23).
Earlier, batting first, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers posted a challenging 151/2 in 20 overs.
Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal bagged two wickets for Siliguri Strikers.
In reply, chasing the target, Servotech Siliguri Strikers lost wickets at regular intervals and were 98/9 in the 17th over.
Against the run of play, Akash Deep played an entertaining knock of 34 off just 16 balls with four sixes and a boundary to give the Strikers some hope of a comeback.
But his late heroics with the bat were not enough as Siliguri Strikers fell short and were bowled out for 130 in 19.5 overs.
