Gharami (51), Sayed Irfan (4-17) power Murshidabad Kings to victory in Bengal Pro T20 League

Skipper Sudip Kumar Gharami led from the front with a brilliant match-winning unbeaten 51 while Sayed Irfan Aftab (4-17) impressed with the ball as Murshidabad Kings outclassed Harbour Diamonds by 8 wickets in the Bengal Pro T20 League at the Eden Gardens on Saturday.
Besides the duo, Shuvam Dey (33 not out) and Nitin Verma (2-25) were also superb for Murshidabad Kings.
Enroute his 38-ball knock, Gharami smashed four sixes and one four.
Earlier, batting first, Harbour Diamonds managed to post 121/9 in 20 overs. Skipper Manoj Tiwary top-scored with 27.
In reply, despite being reduced to 52/2 inside 9 overs, Murshidabad Kings went over the line comfortably, scoring 122/2 in 15.4 overs, thanks to the unbeaten 70-run third-wicket partnership between Sudip and Shuvam.
Manoj and Md Kaif bagged a wicket each for Harbour Diamonds.
