Wizards in Women’s Bengal Pro T20 League

A superb all-round performance powered Sobisco Smashers Malda to a four-wicket victory over Rashmi Medinipur Wizards in the Women’s Bengal Pro T20 League at the Jadavpur University Salt Lake Campus on Thursday.
The star performers for Sobisco Smashers Malda were Piyali Ghosh (40 not out, 1-13) and Shreya Karar (3-22).
Batting first, Rashmi Medinipur Wizards managed to post 111/7 in 20 overs. Ankita Barman top-scored with a fine 36 off 33 balls.
In reply, Sobisco Smashers Malda went over the line comfortably, scoring 112/6 in 18.5 overs.
For Medinipur Wizards, Trishita Sarkar was the pick of the bowlers with 1 for 14.
