semifinals of CAB Inter Dist U-18 One-Day meet

Akshu Giri scored a brilliant 115 along with Rutajit Bhattacharjee (94) as CAB President XI beat Midnapore DSA by 24 runs in the quarterfinal match to make their way into the semifinals of the CAB Inter District Under-18 One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Sunday. Karn Paswan (3-8) and Ayush Ghosh (3-57) were impressive with the ball.
In other quarterfinal matches, Rohit Pradhan (26), Abhishek Yadav (3-14), Siddharth Ghosh (2-17) helped CAB Secretary XI beat Howrah DSA by 3 wickets.
Spandan Roy (32), Ramij Raja (5-47), Shree Ganeshan (2-10) helped South 24-PGS beat Chandernagore SA by 7 wickets. Sunny Das bagged 3 for 36.
Ankush Sur (4-18), Rohan Saha (2-10), Rizwan (2-12) helped North 24-PGS beat Burdwan DSA by 5 wickets.
