Swarnendu bags 3 as Kamrabad Uchcha Vidyalaya make
semifinals of Dattu Phadkar U-15 One-Day meet

Swarnendu Nandy (3-4), Sandipan Mondal (2-9) and Arnab Das (2-10) helped Kamrabad Uchcha Vidyalaya (South 24 PGS) beat Sri Aurobindo Vidyamandir (Chandernagore) by 5 wickets in the quarterfinal match to make their way into the semifinals of the Under-15 Dattu Phadkar One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Friday.
In the other quarterfinal, Priyam Jana scored a fine 43, also bagging 3 for 22 as Delhi World Public School Hooghly beat St Johns Public School (Kolkata W) by 74 runs. Akhilesh Shukla bagged 3 wickets for St Johns.
