Md. Sporting reach 50/1 on rain-hit Day 3
against Bhawanipore in CAB 1st Div meet final

Mohammedan Sporting Club reached 50/1 in their first innings at stumps on a rain-hit Day 3 against Bhawanipore Club in the final of CAB First Division Championship at the Eden Gardens on Wednesday.
Md. Sporting's Jayojit Basu (31) and Gitimoy Basu (16) remained unbeaten at the end of the third day.
Earlier, riding on brilliant centuries each by Arindam Ghosh (134) and Abhimanyu Easwaran (115), Bhawanipore Club managed to post a challenging 479/9 decl. in the first innings.
