Uttarpalli Milan Sangha will clash against Taltala Institute in the final of the CAB Second Division Championship after both the teams registered easy victories in their respectable semifinal matches on Wednesday.
In the first semifinal, Abhishek Mitra smashed a brilliant 100 while Monomit Mitra bagged 2 for 40 as Uttarpalli Milan Sangha beat Cricket Club of Bhawanipore by 203 runs.
Batting first, Uttarpalli Milan Sangha managed to post 348. For Cricket Club of Bhawanipore, Suman Dey and Ranjan Saha bagged four wickets each. In reply, Cricket Club of Bhawanipore were bowled out for 145.
In the other semifinal, Taltala Institute beat Behala Friends Union Club by virtue of higher run-rate.
Batting first, Sandipan Dey scored a fine 79 as Behala Friends Union posted 276. For Taltala Institute, Ajit Kumar Rajak bagged 3 for 35. In reply, Taltala Institute scored 175/6 in 50.4 overs.
