Wari Athletic Club crowned champions of CAB Women's Club Cricket League T20 meet

Riding on a dominant all-round performance, Wari Athletic Club defeated Mohun Bagan Club by virtue of higher run-rate in the final clash to emerge champions of CAB Women's Club Cricket League T20 tournament on Monday.
Ankita Chakraborty was the star performer for Wari Athletic Club, scoring a fine 63 off 55 balls. Diya Nandi also chipped in with a handy 37.
Batting first, Wari Athletic Club posted 145/2 in 20 overs.
In reply, Mohun Bagan reached 29 for no loss in 7 overs when play was stopped due to rain.
With the weather showing no signs of improvement, Wari Athletic Club were declared winners, thanks to their higher run rate.
