Md. Sporting, Wari Athletic Club joint winners of
CAB Women's Club Cricket League One-Day meet

In one of nail-biting matches in women's club cricket in recently times, Wari Athletic Club and Mohammedan Sporting Club were tied on scores at the end of a thrilling final as the both teams were declared joint winners of the CAB Women's Club Cricket League One-Day tournament on Saturday.
Needing just 1 run off 6 balls to win the match, Md. Sporting Club's batters crumbled under pressure as Wari Athletic's Tithi Das delivered a superb final over to seal a tie for her side.
Opting to bat, Wari Athletic Club were bundled out for 169 in 44.3 overs. Puja Rajak top-scored with a fighting 40.
For Md. Sporting, Tapati Paul, Remondina Khatun and Priyosi Aich bagged two wickets each.
In reply, chasing the target, Mohammedan Sporting Club were in total control of the game for most part of their innings. But wickets at regular intervals at the end denied them a victory as they were bowled out with the scores level at 169 in 44.4 overs.
Mouli Mondal scored a brilliant 54 while Priyanka Bala also chipped in with a fine 28 for Md. Sporting.
For Wari Athletic Club, Tithi Das (3-25) and Diya Nandi (3-31) were superb with the ball.
