enter semis of Dattu Phadkar U-15 One-Day meet

Ashik Roy (4-18) and Aniket Balmiki (4-29) were superb with the ball as Siliguri Boys High School beat Ratnakar North Point School (Kolkata R) by 10 runs in the quarterfinal match to make their way into the semifinals of the Under-15 Dattu Phadkar One-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Saturday.
Batting first, Siliguri Boys were bowled out for 112. Rajbir Das bagged 5 for 26 for Ratnakar North Point School. In reply, Ratnakar North Point School were bundled out for just 102.
In the other match, Purba Barasat Adarsha Vidyapith beat Howrah Vivekananda Institution by 6 wickets.
Batting first, Howrah Vivekananda Institution were bundled out for 133. Swarnab Biswas and Saikat Roy bagged two wickets each. In reply, Purba Barasat Adarsha Vidyapith chased the target down scoring 136/4, thanks to Spandan Biswas (49). Md Jiyauddin Ansari bagged three wickets for Howrah Vivekananda Institution.
