All-round Pradipta (121, 3-70) powers Bhawanipore
Club into final of 1st Div multi-day meet

Pradipta Pramanik displayed a brilliant all-round performance by smashing an unbeaten 121 followed by bagging 3-70 as Bhawanipore Club defeated East Bengal Club by 54 runs in the semifinal clash to make their way into the final of the First Division Championship multi-day meet on Saturday.
Batting first, Bhawanipore Club posted 399/7 in 100 overs, thanks to Pradipta, Arindam Ghosh (67) and Abhimanyu Easwaran (59).
For East Bengal, Shreyan Chakraborty (3-106) and Sumit Mohanta (2-69) were the pick of the bowlers.
In reply, despite brilliant knocks by Satyaki Dutta (109) and Amitoze Singh (81), East Bengal fell short of the target scoring just 285.
Besides Pradipta, Deepak Kumar bagged two wickets for Bhawanipore.
