Subham (163), Writam (108) hit tons for Kalighat in quarterfinal of 1st Div Qualifier meet

Shubham Chatterjee (163 not out), Writam Porel (108), Abhishek Raman (63), Abhishek Bose (62) helped Kalighat post a massive 522/6 against Town Club in the quarterfinals of the First Division Qualifier and Championship on Saturday. For Town Club, Sujit Kumar Yadav bagged 3 wickets. In reply, Town Club were 106/5 at stumps on Day 2.
In other matches, Ravikanth Shukla (161) and Vikas (104) smashed centuries each as Mohammedan Sporting Club posted 385. For Calcutta Custom Club, Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal bagged 5 for 128. In reply, Calcutta Custom Club were 265/4 at stumps, thanks to Sayan Kumar Biswas (82). Vaibhav Yadav bagged 4 for 45.
Shreyan Chakraborty (4-34), Sumit Mohanta (3-46) were superb with the ball while Satyaki Dutta (52) also impressed as East Bengal beat Kidderpore Sporting Club by 8 wickets. Earlier, East Bengal Club bowled out Kidderpore Sporting Club for 177. Arun Chaprana top-scored with 46. In reply, East Bengal chased it down scoring 182/2.
Abhimanyu Easwaran (77), Rajkumar Pal (3-15), Pradipta Pramanik (39, 3-40) helped Bhawanipore Club beat Mohun Bagan Club by 20 runs. Batting first, Bhawanipore Club posted 176. For Mohun Bagan, Rohit Kumar (3-21), Akash Pandey (2-53) and Md Kounain Quraishi (2-10) impressed. In reply, Mohun Bagan were bundled out for 156.
