Soumya slams 125 for Cricket Club of Bhawanipore in 2nd Div Qualifier & Championship match

Soumya Ghosh smashed a brilliant 125 as Cricket Club of Bhawanipore posted 351/9 against South Suburban Club at stumps on Day 1 in the pre-quarterfinal of the Second Division Qualifier and Championship Two-Day match on Friday. Sarit Datta and Venkatesh Reddy bagged four wickets each.
In other matches, Ansh Poddar (6-75) and Shreeyesh Shrivastava (4-45) were superb with the ball as Bata Sporting Club bowled out Howrah Sporting Club for 232. Sachin Sharma top-scored with 57. In reply, Bata Sporting Club were 47/6 at stumps. Pushpal Kumar bagged four wickets.
Mithun Dutta (101 not out) and Dipak Prasad (87) helped Uttarpalli Milan Sangha post 473/6 at stumps. For George Telegraph, Bhupinder Singh bagged 4 wickets.
Arsh Yadav (63) helped Vijay Sports Club post 298. For Bantra Cricket Club, Pratip Roy bagged four wickets. In reply, Bantra Cricket Club were 24 for no loss at stumps.
