Harsh (130), Salman (110) slam centuries for Burnpur Cricket Club
in pre-quarterfinals of 2nd Div Qualifier & Championship match

Harsh Sharma (130) and Salman Khan (110) scored brilliant centuries each as Burnpur Cricket Club posted 443/8 at stumps on Day 1 in the pre-quarterfinal of the Second Division Qualifier and Championship match on Sunday. For, Alipore Sporting Club, Bidushman Guha bagged three wickets.
In the other pre-quarterfinal matches, Behala Friends Union Club, Taltala Institute, Calcutta Cricket Club registered easy victories to make their way into the quarterfinals.
Labib Khan (6-45) was superb with the ball while Dhiman Mondal (41) also impressed as Behala Friends Union Club beat Salkia Friends Association by 3 wickets. Vishal Bhati and Abhay Kumar bagged three wickets each for Salkia Friends Association.
Krishnendu Guha (5-29) and Ajit Kumar Rajak (4-37) helped Taltala Institute beat Basdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association by 5 wickets. Rahul Majumder scored a fine 50 for Taltala Institute.
Sayak Jana (5-49) was brilliant with the ball as Calcutta Cricket Club beat Taltala Ekata Sangha by 5 wickets. Sourav Kumar Prasad scored a fine 57 for Taltala Ekata Sangha.
