Dipak slams 195, Shashi bags 8 in 2nd Div Qualifier and Championship match

Dipak Shaw smashed a brilliant 195 as Taltala Institute posted 452 against Gymkhana on Day 1 in the Round One of the Second Division Qualifier and Championship match on Thursday. Shashi Shankar Singh (8-145) was superb with the ball for Gymkhana. In reply, Gymkhana were 19 for no loss at stumps.
In other matches, Ballygunge Sporting Association managed to post 215. Sourav Dawn (6-46) was superb with the ball. In reply, Burnpur Cricket Club were 107/5 at stumps.
Basdroni Young Bengal Sporting Association managed to post 276, thanks to Suman Ghosh (95). For Sahapur Sporting Club, Abhimanyu Singh bagged 5 for 86. In reply, Sahapur Sporting Club were 27/2 at stumps.
Alipore Sporting Club posted 271, thanks to Sourav Dutta Jr (81). For West Bengal Police Sports Club, Kunal Bose bagged 5 for 61. In reply, West Bengal Police Sports Club were 42/1 at stumps.
