Samaresh hits 89, bags 4 as SuburbanClub win in 2nd Div League Qualifier 1 match

Samaresh Maity (89, 4-79) displayed a dominant all-round show while Ketan Patel (76), Subarna Ghosh (60) and Sibabrata Das (3-35) also impressed as Suburban Club beat Sarat Samity by 115 runs in the Second Division League Qualifier Round 1 match on Tuesday.
Batting first, Suburban Club post 304. For Sarat Samity, Meetul Sah (5-113) was brilliant with the ball. In reply, Sarat Samity were bundled out for 189.
In the second match, Pratip Roy bagged 5 for 52 while Arnab Bhattacharjee (79) and Amrit Nandy (65) impressed as Bantra Cricket Club beat Balak Sangha by 2 wickets. Soubhagya Sundar Pakreh (51) helped Balak Sangha post 283/9. In reply, Bantra Cricket Club chased it down scoring 284/8.
