United Club crowned champions of Junior U-18 Invitational One-Day Meet

United Club displayed a dominant all-round performance to outclass Calcutta Police Club by a massive 221 runs in the final clash to emerge champions of the CAB Junior U-18 Invitational One-Day Meet on Saturday.
Batting first, Irshad Alam (63), Atmaja Mondal (60), Chandrahas Das (54) and Mayank Jha (52 not out) helped United Club post 332/6 in 50 overs.
Ricky Sharma and Arman Shah bagged two wickets for Calcutta Police Club.
In reply, Calcutta Police Club were bundled out for just 111 in 32 overs. Drone Chatterjee top-scored with 42.
Irshad Alam (3-21) and Shree Ganeshan (3-17) were impressive with the ball for United Club.
