Bengal Pro T20 League likely to commence on June 12

With everything falling into place, the much-awaited inaugural edition of Bengal Pro T20 League is most likely to begin on June 12.
The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) President Snehasish Ganguly said this at the sidelines of the signing of the tri-partite agreement with Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) at the Eden Gardens on Tuesday.
"After a lot of hard work, we are happy to announce June 12 as the tentative date for the launch and commencement of the long-awaited Bengal Pro T20 League. The tournament, for both the men's and women's, has been a long target for us, so we are happy to bring everything into place," CAB President Mr Ganguly said.
"I am happy to have Indian Chamber of Commerce as a partner for the tournament. I hope to have a long partnership with them. Above all, I hope the tournament emerges as a huge success and eventually brings forward more talent from Bengal," Mr Ganguly added.
The Bengal Pro T20 League is conceptualized on the lines of the IPL involving 8 franchise teams in both the men's and women's category.
