Midnapore emerge champions of CAB Inter District U-15 Two-Day meet

Midnapore displayed a dominant all-round performance to outclass South 24-PGS by 122 runs in the final clash to emerge champions in the Inter District Under-15 two-day league-cum-knockout tournament on Monday.
Batting first, Anish Mahapatra smashed a brilliant 102 as Midnapore posted 213/6 in 46 overs.
For South 24-PGS, Pushpal Halder bagged the two wickets.
In reply, chasing a challenging target, South 24-PGS were bowled out for just 91 in 36.1 overs.
For Midnapore, Om Kumar Das (5-33) and Ankush Chakraborty (4-40) were impressive with the ball.
