Sayak slams 105 as Calcutta Cricket Club win in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Sayak Jana scored a brilliant match-winning 105 as Calcutta Cricket Club beat Satya Sandhi by 9 wickets in the CAB Second Division league-cum-knockout tournament on Saturday. Earlier, Santanu Das (4-73) and Kamalesh Mitra (4-75) were superb with the ball as Calcutta Cricket Club bundled out Satya Sandhi for 227. Souristo Ash scored 52. In reply, Calcutta Cricket Club chased it down scoring 231/1.
In other matches, Supriyo Pal smashed 101 along with Neelotpal Bauri (54) as Abasar beat Calcutta University Institute by 10 wickets. Ankit Burnwal and Shanu Qureshi bagged three wickets each as Abasar bundled out Calcutta University Institute for 161. In reply, Abasar chased it down scoring 162 for no loss.
Avik Adhikary scored a fine 93 while Sk Siddik (6-45) and Bijay Mondal (3-23) was impressive with the ball as Jorabagan Club beat Calcutta Parsse Club by 142 runs. Earlier, Jorabagan Club managed to score 281. In reply, Calcutta Parsse Club were bundled out for 139.
Tarun Verma (46) was impressive with the bat while Abhimanyu Singh and Sumit Pandit bagged three wickets each as Sahapur Sporting Club beat Friends Athletic Club by 2 wickets. Batting first, Piyush (65) and Dipanshu Upadhyay (56) helped Friends Athletic Club posted 228. For Sahapur Sporting Club. In reply, Sahapur Sporting Club chased it down scoring 230/8.
Harsh Kumar Ray (4-96) and Subhadip Chatterjee (86) helped Mouri Sporting Club beat West Bengal Association of the Deaf by 6 wickets. WB Association of the Deaf scored 196. In reply, Mouri Sporting Club chased it down scoring 197/4.
