Aamir hits 131, bags 4 as Victoria Sporting Club win in CAB Second Division Two-Day meet

Aamir Hussain was superb with the ball bagging 4 for 75, followed by a match-winning brilliant 131 off 63 balls as Victoria Sporting Club beat Friends Sporting Union by 5 wickets in the CAB Second Division league-cum-knockout tournament on Friday. Batting first, Friends Sporting Union were bundled out for 208. In reply, Victoria Sporting Club chased it down scoring 211/5.
In other matches, Agastya Agarwal was impressive with the ball bagging 6 for 140 for Calcutta Parsse Club while Avik Adhikary scored a fine 93 along with Arijit Seal (72) as Jorabagan Club were bundled out for 281. In reply, Calcutta Parsse Club were 100/4 at stumps.
Santanu Das (4-73) and Kamalesh Mitra (4-75) were superb with the ball as Calcutta Cricket Club bundled out Satya Sandhi for 227. Souristo Ash scored 52. In reply, Calcutta Cricket Club were 123/1 at stumps.
Piyush (65) and Dipanshu Upadhyay (56) helped Friends Athletic Club posted 228. For Sahapur Sporting Club, Abhimanyu Singh and Sumit Pandit bagged three wickets each. In reply, Sahapur Sporting Club were 43/2 at stumps.
Harsh Kumar Ray (4-96) was superb with the ball as Mouri Sporting Club bundled out WB Association of the Deaf for 196. In reply, Mouri Sporting Club were 141/2 at stumps, thanks to Subhadip Chatterjee (60 not out).
Ankit Burnwal and Shanu Qureshi bagged three wickets each as Abasar bundled out Calcutta University Institute for 161. In reply, Abasar were 61 for no loss at stumps.
