Shuvam hits 107 as Kidderpore Sporting Club win in CAB First Division Two-Day meet

Shuvam Dey smashed a brilliant match-winning 107 as Kidderpore Sporting Club beat Aikya Sammilani by 7 wickets in the CAB First Division League Group B & C Two-Day league-cum-knockout tournament on Thursday. Batting first, Rahul Prasad (77 not out) helped Aikya Sammilani post 250. For Kidderpore Sporting Club, Arun Kumar Chaurasiya bagged 3 for 52. In reply, Kidderpore Sporting Club chased it down scoring 251/3.
In other matches, Saurabh Tripathi (105) and Ejaj Ahamed Mallick (103) smashed centuries each Ashish Yadav (4-66) and Sachin Kumar Singh (4-97) as Dalhousie A.C beat Kolkata Union Sporting Club by 4 runs. Batting first, Dalhousie A.C posted 352/9. For Kolkata Union Sporting Club, Preetam Biswas bagged 4 for 66. In reply, despite a fine 127 by Sourav Chakraborty, Kolkata Union Sporting Club fell short scoring 348/9.
Parth Palawat scored a fine 86 while Bapi Manna and Akshay Sain bagged five wickets each as Aryan Club beat Calcutta Port Trust by 1 wicket. Batting first, Rohit Ram (71) and Deepak Kumar Mahato (62) helped Calcutta Port Trust post 307. In reply, Aryan Club chased it down scoring 312/9.
Harsh Dev Gautam (81, 3-24), Rashid Khan (67) and Sayan Paul (3-16) helped Kumartuli Institute beat Shibpur Institute by 192 runs. Batting first, Kumartuli Institute posted 317. For Shibpur Institute, Amit Kr Pandey bagged 5 for 109. In reply, Shibpur Institute were bundled out for 125.
